   Hello, you cannot join the server with a D2r client since it's a completely different software.
   Also, there is no telling if D2r will ever be supported since Blizzard does not currently allow private realms with their new game but if something changes in the future I guess we'll find out.

   I cannot predict the future, but that's merely an old alpha project and against D2R ToS for now. Blizzard will have the last word on this one, not us or anyone else, so at the moment you will not be able to connect to the server with a D2R client.
