How to "bug" eth items?

I tried this one and it Does not work. it decreases def. It seems that its a must to have a runeword with +%ed (tested), maybe pure pul rune would help, don know yet

 

it can't be "any rune or jewel.to get the bugged ED bonus,you have to use a runeword,like 'Stone" (Armor) or Exile (Shields) which has an ED bonus,then use a Hel/tp in the cube to undo it,but,the ED bonus stays.keep doing this until your base defense is 2037 then make the runeword you want.
