Im new, Horadric cube help

Hi everyone, in new in this server and i have noticed that i cant use some of the recipies for the horadric cube that i've found on guides on the web, for example 3 chipped topaz ----> 1 flawlees topaz, I donno if that doesnt work anymore or just dont have that option here. someone help please !

 

The new mix is 1 chipped >> 1 upgraded >> 1 upgraded (you only need 1 gem to upgrade it )

then you can upgrade/downgrade runes. ex. vex+vex=ohm or Lo= 2x ohms
