Need advice please!

Hey all, I'm new here and i've recently stumbled upon 2 zods.
I'm not too sure what to do with them, but I basically need everything for my smiter paladin, I have absolutely zero gear.
I know the zods are valuable, I just don't know what to pay for the things that I need since I'm not too used to your economy over here
If someone could point me in any direction I would appreciate it, thanks!

A Zod rune is worth around 5 Ber runes which is the measurement here. If you want to build up a smiter with a descent Exile shield and some other expensive stuff you can spend around 3-4 bers (counting stuff like CTA 6 Battle Orders). The rest you can spend on different builds easily or build an descent smiter paladin with a lot of life + rezist charms which are expensive. The choice is yours, however I'd say 2 Zod runes are more than sufficient to build a smiter plus another character which can be used. Nice drops for a start - I consider your very lucky to be honest!

You've got awesome luck finding 2 zods so quickly, congrats! They are worth multiple bers each (4-5) but can be tough to sell sometimes. My advice is be patient, don't be in a rush to sell them to them. Get fair value for them and use them to set yourself up economically.

If those are your only runes i wont recommend investing in a smiter. Better gear character to farm with. 2 Zod can't make u great (pvp wise or just farm wise).
Smiter for ubers on other hand should be builded as cheap as possible.
Better buy yourself infinity + other good stuffs for a farming character. But that's just me.

Hey! I would recommend making a sorc as a second character. A lightning sorc with a mercinary who has infinity is capable of farming pretty much any zone. The sorc gear is cheap, you can skip the griffons and CoH to begin with if you lack funds.

 

You can build a really cheap smiter if using mediocre random stat gear.

Helm: Guillame's face
Armour: Duress AP (Treachery for switch bug)
Weapon: Black (flail) or Grief (PB)
Gloves: Dracs
Belt: Verdungo
Boots: Gores
Amulet: Mara
Rings: Raven and Dwarf
Switch: BO and Spirit (in pala only shield base)
Charms: No torch/ani, optional life or res smalls

Very budget build that can do ubers without breaking a sweat. Unless you are going for PvP, that's the way to go imo.

As the others suggested above, you should prioritize investing in a solid all-around farmer if you are new in the realm.
