Retool The Countess?

It used to be doing enough countess runs would net you Ohms and Vex's on a pretty regular basis,and even occasionally, LO.now,it seems like she Never drops Lo's anymore and very seldom ever drops Vex or Ohm.over the past 3-4 days I have gotten maybe 1 Ohm,and a Vex,an Ist and a Mal.90% of the time she is dropping Shaels,Orts,Io's, Ko's.or Hel's.Is there any possibility of retooling her so that the lowest she drops is a Lum? (I would be ok with that,but not going through 5 lvls for a damned Shael).it just gets aggravating,especially when you are trying to run her WITHOUT a Chains of Honor.And I am really starting to hate her.....lol.

 

i can recommend you to farm areas instead of countess. especially if you dont have the ability to teleport.
if your char is weak, farm mausoleum and pit. when your char gets stronger you can add chaos and worldstone to your workload.
most people think: why farm areas anyway? countess gives guaranteed high rune drop!
its true, farming areas is pretty much the same as gambling, but you can find good items,charms and runes etc. so at the end you will make more profit out of the time you spent.
6 hours countess and you might have cubed a ber together. 6 hours of area farming and you might find nothing or zod cham light sk 38 hp or what ever

 

I totally agree. The ONLY time I do Countess (and I've done thousands over the years) is when I am looking for keys. When I start out with a new character (no teleport) I will concentrate on areas like Tristram, Mausoleum, Pits (in Tamao Highlands), Arcane Sanctuary, Ancient Tunnels and depending on the character even Maggots Lair. All these places have provided me with end game equipment as well as the really high runes Ber+

Remember you will never find the stuff if you don't put in the effort and it just takes one lucky Cham to get you that Enigma. You can do a thousand runs at Countess and still not find the runes for Enigma.
