Revised build for my Smiter PvP

After making a thread before about the same topic i was able to finalize my build so here it is. Please give some advise if I need some revisions. Thak you.

Stats:
Str: 174 stats needed to wear gears
Dex: 136 stats need to wear gears with max block
Vit: The rest of the stats would be pump here

Skills:
Max Smite
Max Holy Shield
Max Fanaticism Aura
Max Defiannce Aura
Get 1 Vigor for chasing and evading maneuvers the the rest of the point would go to Charge

Weapon: Grief PB switch with CTA
Shield: Upd HOZ with Ber switch with Spirit
Armor: COH Kraken Shell
Helmet: COA with 2 Ber
Belt: Verdungo
Gloves: CB Gloves with 20IAS
Boots: Upd Gore Riders
Amulet: Highlord
Rings: 20 Dex Raven and BK ring

Charms:
Hellfire Torch
Annihilus
Get Pcomb lifer as many as possible if not lifer then Pcomb. After that All resistance until I get to 75 All resist then the rest is Small Charms of life ranging from 16 to 20

PS: Can someone tell me which is better Fortitude or COH if i use Forti will my damage increase than COH? Or COH is better in every aspects? And about charms is my plan correct or not? Thanks for the replies.

 

If you are searching more dmg, forti will increasi it more. The enhanced damage doesnt show up in the dps sheet but does increase your damage in pratice.

As for charms, I wouldnt invest in pala combat sks since the damage added is low, hp scs will do better. Ofc I assume the best would be sk pc +45L but... Also, if you got charms +max damage +life stored around, maybe its a good idea to use them here.

For ubbers you dont need all of this stuff. I guess you are about pvp.

Weapon: Grief PB switch with CTA
Shield Upd HOZ with UM switch with Spirit
Armor: Duress Archon Plate. But i have a reserved Archons for Enigma and Forti. I only need Lo to make a Forti Armor.
Helmet: Guillamess Face with Um
Gloves: For PvM I have Dracul's For PvP I have a CB Gloves with 10IAS Some people said before that i have the max Atk spd already coz my Grief PB has 40IAS so maybe i don't have to Craft anymore.
Boots: Upd Gore Riders
Belt: Verdungos
Amulet: Highlord's
Rings: 20 Dex Raven + BK Ring

Charms: Hellfire Torch + Anni + smallcharms few around 4 pcs LOL

About Mercenary I plan to Get the Act 3 Merc Ice Caster Type with Last Wish as the weapon to get the might skill. But damn! Last Wish is very expensive! T.T my reason for getting it is for me to kill all kinds of Mob in Hell. Im also wondering, can an Act 3 Merc wear a paladin shield? Thanks man

 

No Merc can use class specific items.

Act 3 cant use pala shield
Act 5 cant use baba helm
Act 1 cant use ama bow
and so on.

For PVM merc I reccomend act 2 merc, pick your favourite aura.
For PVP no merc is allowed.

 

What classes are you gonna fight with this pally? Is it only Smiter vs Smiter, or smiter vs all?

If it's the first one I don't see any chances of beating any classic smiter. First of all, you don't need any block to win against other smiter. Second you have too much strenght with this build - you'r life will be too low. Third, you need only 50% damage reduced - you can remove one ber rune or even two (depends on your CoA stat - Perfect Coa + Verdungo = 46% DR). You should also consider using BA or MP grief.

If it's the second one I don't see the point of making it. You will use mostly charge. You should consider making a charger

 

Aw... I plan to make a Smiter vs All.. Do you mean a Smiter build is not recommended for PvP? T.T
I put 174 Str since it is the STR requirement for COA. Also putting 136 Dex for me to wear Grief PB. Between BA and PB i chose PB since it has a faster IAS and it looks cool. XD But now I don't know. XD

BTW Can you help with that Charger build? is it good for PvP against all class? I'm trying to search a build related to that but can't find a decent one. XD Thanks bro.

BTW in Merc i plan to choose Act 3 since I'm having a lot of trouble against Immune to physical mobs. so i plan to get a Ice caster merc with a Voice of Reason or Lawbringer as a weapon. XD Last wish is too expensive dammit. XD

 

Charger is more variable vs all classes than smiter. In most cases the smiter goes to their targets with.. charge and then switch to smite. That's cool but not such effective against most classes. If you can get to your target with charge, where is the point of switching to smite? Pump up your damage enough and the targed will suffer a lot

Time is pushing me now, I'll give you more explenations tomorrow

In general you should make smiter for PvM and a charger for PvP

for sorcs with high dmg and -res you can use coh armor ... its not cheap but it works well
