Solved Someone help me :/ I really want to play on this server.

    I did everything to my knowledge of playing d2 since 2002.. but i cant fix this unhandled error c000....5 bs. Then ive looked at stuff online for hours tried everything and nothing.. Yes i have 1.13c clean install. Not sure if running windows 10 has any issues but thats what im using. If someone could help me out here that would be great.

    Edit: Yes ive tried running service packs 2 + 3 / W7 + admin on all exes.
    No antivirus on my pc, windows defender is turned off and firewall turned off.
    Also no option to turn on or off DEP... which is odd.
    Also i added Glide too see if that fixed it and ran D2VidTest and selected it. Still didn't work.

    @thomale, be patient and you will get the help you need as we can't always reply instantly.

    The issue comes from DEP for sure and the fact that you can't select anything on the DEP side is indeed odd. Have you looked on google for a solution on your corrupted DEP

    At the bottom of your DEP screenshot it even tells you how to access it and enable (bcdedit.exe file).

    @Escorb4r , he doesn't have the choice of modifying anything in DEP panel which is most likely where the problem comes from.

    @Gix your knowlegde is gold my freind , sorry for the bad info i just seen errors accour because people didnt install or apply things properly. Thanks for the help

    @Escorb4r, your info isn't bad either considering sometime people don't install/apply things properly as you said and for some of them this could have been the reason of these errors, just not in this case most likely. Any form of support is more than welcomed :)

    Ok so i tried multiple commands to get my DEP to be able to select stuff and it wont change. Restarted pc and all. Fresh install of everything. Pretty sure windows10 is just dog shit.

    I have dep off entirely so it shouldnt even affect anything.

    WOOOOOOT I HAVE FIGURED IT OUT! :D well sorta. I just refreshed all my DEP commands and restarted and its working.

    ALSO! If anyone else has any issues make sure you tell them too TURN OF WINDOWS DEFENDER! It breaks the loader.

    Please use EDIT button from now on, don't triple post. There is info about windows defender/firewall on the how to connect page, however it's not available for everyone as some players have windows defender turned on without a problem. The dep was the issue as I said so glad you solved this one. You must have disabled something during the install or after that as windows10 doesn't come with dep panel disabled, neither other windows versions.

    holy moly!! turning off defender and that dep thing fixed it for me too :eek: i guess im back again :D
