Unusual Spawn of D2 Clone in Classic Hardcore

    Was playing Classic Hardcore yesterday and the Diablo Clone got spawn , which is not supposed to happened .
    Eventually The Clone got killed , But nothing dropped :( , just 400 000 exp :p
    Hadn't seen Diablo Clone before in Classic Diablo .

    @tonkatabg, there is nothing unusual about that though. Diablo clone can spawn in classic mode as well (it does in the original game too) but will not drop an Annihilus.
    Congratulations on the kill, switching to classic mode from time to time it's quite fun and many people do it around here.

    (diablowiki) DC can only spawn in Hell games and can appear in D2 Classic, Ladder, Non-ladder, Softcore, and Hardcore.

    Hi @tonkatabg it's obviously there will be drop nothing because it's a boss which was added after patch 1.10+ to get a charm annihilus on lod where on classic any charms not exists, but only what he will give u its colosal expierence coz on lod DC has level110 and on classic 160ilvl and 95@rez, congratulation for killing him.

    I didn't know about that . Saw it for first time on Classic . That is why it was strange to me .

    Annihilus, Hellfire torch and Gheed's Fortune - all unique charms - are LoD-only items, they cannot drop in Classic, this is why DC drop was probably "null".
    About why he spawned, no clue here; maybe a search will give you some answer (I tried and all the hits on this first page are related to LoD, didn't look any further).
