Solved c0000005 error after installing sting maphack

    hey guys!

    I haven't played diablo 2 for a while and now I wanted to play again, but I get UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: ACCESS_VIOLATION (c0000005)
    all the time.

    I uninstalled the game and followed all the steps here:

    The game starts now, but as soon as I copy Sting Maphack to the Diablo 2 Folder I get this error :-\ Any Idea why?

    This only happened to me if i tried using full screen.
    Did you also try the integrated MH? Is MH that starts with your game and doesnt need loading separately.

    yeah the integrated maphack is what gives me trouble. It is working now and I don't know what I've changed :D
